Beware Dub

Just spotted this over on the Stones Throw site…and I’m glad I did. Stones Throw and Dub Club (a super well-respected LA area weekly reggae event series) have teamed up to release Signs and Wonders in Dub, a 10 track release of new songs from JA sound system legends like Tippa Lee.

Night Nurse Remix

Trying to remix an absolute classic like “Night Nurse” by Gregory Isaacs can be a pretty risky business. Competing with the original can be a tall order. Check out this interesting stripped down mix of said classic by Necessary Mayhem. It’s really interesting and worth a listen. Via Boomshots.
